Middle School Opens Season With Shootout Win

The Middle School squad opened the 2021-22 season with an exciting shootout victory over a resilient Plainedge/Wantagh squad.  Dominic Carron and Andrew Morizio scored regulation goals and forcing the game to a 3-player shootout.  Cooper Goldspiel got RVC off on the right foot scoring the opening goal in the shootout.  Sean Johnson capped the victory with a goal to end the game.  Tyler Sapoff filled in between the pipes and blanked the opposing team in the shootout as well.  RVC took home a 3-2 victory for their first win of the season.

Gevin Cook was awarded the 'Player of the Game' award and a brand new CCM stick for his relentless back checking and two way hockey.  Great job by the boys!
