Middle School Suffers First Loss of Season
The Middle School Cyclones played a fierce game last night against the league juggernaut, Bellmore/Merrick. Coming into a game many thought would be lopsided, the Cyclones had different plans and took it to Bellmore in a great effort. A late turnover allowed Bellmore to tie the game at 3-3. Headed to another shootout, the Cyclones luck would run out as they would be stopped on all three chances. Matthew Prezioso would allow only one goal in the shootout but it proved to be enough for Bellmore to secure a 4-3 win. Cooper Goldspiel, Andrew Morizio, and Massi Giammarino would score for the Cyclones.
The Cyclones continue to impress and have yet to lose a game in regulation and sit in second place in the school league. Michael Stanaway would earn the 'Player of the Game' award and new CCM stick with his hard work and determination every shift.
